Horse Riding: Riding Instruction/Trekking:

Downhill Skiing:

Cross Country Skiing: Waymarked forest trails – Glenmulliach Forest near Tomintoul (free map available).

Wayfaring/Orienteering: Recreational wayfaring course in the Glenmulliach Forest near Tomintoul. Maps available.

Mountain Bikes: Approximately 60 miles of waymarked cycle trails are laid out on the estate. Free trail leaflet available.

Canoeing: The rivers Avon and Livet are suitable at moderate – high water levels. Mostly grade 1/2. Up to grade 3/4 in places. Contact ranger staff for details.

Clay Pigeon Shooting: Gun hire – lessons. Non-instructional practice rounds. Contact Gerald Stewart, Dell Farm 01807 590227.

Wild Farm Safari: Visit friendly reindeer, iron-age pigs, fallow deer and Soay sheep on a tour around this Glenlivet farm, part of the Cairngorm Reindeer Co. Contact Alan or Elizabeth Smith. Tel: 01479 861228 (summer only)

Children’s Adventure Playground: Located next to Glenlivet Estate Office & Information Centre. Free entry – accessible anytime. Equipment suitable for children 3 yrs upwards – woodland hide.
