Gaffney Viewpoint (Tomintoul)
A short distance up the Campdalmore Farm road at the north end of Tomintoul village, on the Tomintoul Circular Walk, there is a very fine view of the River Avon as it meanders its way past the village, with the high tops of Ben Avon dominating the horizon. The viewpoint is marked by a cairn in memory of Dr. Victor Gaffney, a local historian.
