Distance: 5 miles (8km) circuit.

Start: NJ 170 286. Altnaglander car park and picnic site, off the B9136 Avonside road.

Route: Steady ascent up to the Speyside Way with fine views.

Access information: During May, June and July roe deer stalking activities may be taking place in the woodland in the evenings and early mornings. May be affected by Grouse shooting from August - December.

Varied open 5 mile circular walk around the Blairfindy Moorland following farm tracks and hill paths and providing extensive views over Strathavon and the Cromdale Hills. From Altnaglander car park a steady ascent along a hill track (steep in places) leads to the Speyside Way Spur.  The route then heads northwards along the Spur before leaving the long distance route to follow hill paths and sheep tracks rejoining the B9136 1km east of the starting point.  A wide range of moorland wildlife can be seen on this enjoyable walk, which can be linked with other waymarked trails leading to the summit of Carn Daimh.

Glenlivet welcomes you to explore its tracks and byways.
