People have been farming at Glenlivet for thousands of years.
Farming is a way of life in Glenlivet. It may have reached its peak in the mid-1800s but it’s still the area’s main industry. Farming practices have changed a lot since those early days though, with many more farmers now working to benefit the wildlife and habitats on their farms.
We’re hugely proud of our farming heritage and the fresh food that our farmlands continue to produce in a fast changing world. Today there are around 30 main tenant farms – family run, as they have been for generations.
