Duke of Edinburgh Award expeditions

Glenlivet Estate is the top choice for many D of E expedition groups

Whether a practice expedition or your gold, silver or bronze expedition Glenlivet Estate provides a great location with a wealth of routes and rights of way to navigate.

If you need a hand with your planning the Ranger service staff are happy to advise and suggest routes. We have suggested some wild camping locations for expedition groups on this map.

A wild camping area (no facilities) is available near our Estate Office in Tomintoul which provides a great base for your first night. Please book the use of this with us (no charge).

It would be appreciated if all expedition groups could contact us and let us know their route and camp locations so we can advise if their are any estate mangament activities that may be encountered.

You can also check our Visitor Updates page for shoot dates, bridge closures, path diversions etc.

Groups are reminded to follow the Scottish Outdoor Access Code at all times.
