Volunteer Management Day

10am - 3pm
Glenlivet Estate Ranger Service and Cairngorms National Park Volunteer Rangers will be hand cutting the meadow.
Drop in at anytime to find out more about the meadow, why we are hand cutting it, and try your hand at scything. Suitable for beginners as we will be guided in our scything technique by Doug Gooday.
We will also be joined by John Malster from CuramFyvie to demonstrate seed collection. If you would like to collect any seed to grow locally please bring along containers to take them home.
If you have a scythe or grass rake please bring it along but we will have equipment to borrow on the day too.
Please park at Tomintoul Car Park (NJ 168 186 / skirting.lend.fury) and walk towards bird hide.
